"Heavy is the Head" by Children of the Reptile
Upon hearing this album for the first time I thought to myself, "Why the Hell don't more people know about COTR????" This album is full of passoniate playing, masterful guitar harmonies, cleaver and thoughful lyrics and let me tell you, these guys are the real deal especially live! I've seen them grace a stage from time to time and they could literally open up for anybody nationally and headline small clubs no problem.
The tracks on "Heavy is the Head" range from Rippers, like "Burner", "silent circle", "adventures" and "Seven days of fire" to more eclectic tracks like "fear the old blood" and the fantastic ballad "oath to order", (which ends as a ripper!). ozzie and the cotr men have put together one hell of a masterpiece and continue to show us their ever expanding musical skills. take the time to download this nc gem and share it with the world....like a lovely plague! - lord gates |
